We shared our vision on how strategic analysis should guide security investment
Silleda, Galicia – The third edition of SEDEXPO, held from March 26 to 28 at the Feira Internacional de Galicia ABANCA, exceeded all expectations. With 387 companies from 38 countries — a 71% increase compared to the previous edition — the expo has solidified its position as an international benchmark in the fields of security, defense, and emergency management. Over the course of three dynamic days, SEDEXPO combined technological exhibitions, specialized training, and strategic dialogue spaces.
More than 50 conferences were held, featuring around 100 top-level speakers who addressed topics such as artificial intelligence applied to defense, hybrid threats, cybersecurity, humanitarian demining, and new models of civil-military cooperation in response to emerging risks. One of the most praised aspects of the event were the real-time operational demonstrations and simulations: from water rescues coordinated by the Galician Coast Guard and Regional Police, to a complex Civil Guard exercise simulating a terrorist threat. These activities showcased not only equipment and technology, but also the real capabilities for interagency response and coordination.
At ACK3, we were honored to actively participate in SEDEXPO 2025, contributing our expertise in strategic analysis and global risk management. We were invited to speak at the technical session organized by the Civil Guard, titled “Intelligence and Information in the service of security and defense,” where we shared our perspective on the current state of the sector. In addition, Jorge Quintana, CEO of ACK3, had the opportunity to bring this vision to a broader audience through an interview on Telexornal by Galician Television (TVG), highlighting the importance of strategic analysis in the design of effective defense policies.
During his speech, Quintana emphasized the key role of strategic analysis in the current context of increased defense budgets:“It’s not just about spending more—it’s about investing wisely, aligning resources with a clear understanding of risks and capabilities. Strategy and intelligence must guide every euro invested,” Quintana stated before an audience of senior military officials, analysts, and public and private security leaders.
We firmly believe that, in an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape, strategic intelligence must serve as the compass guiding both investment and action. SEDEXPO has been an excellent platform for strengthening networks, sharing knowledge, and continuing to build a professional community committed to global security.
