Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – On October 11, the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental hosted the official celebration of Spain’s National Day 2025, organized by the Embassy of Spain in the United Arab Emirates and the Spanish Business Council (SBC). More than 2,500 guests—including Emirati authorities, diplomats, institutional representatives, and business leaders—attended an event highlighting Spain’s role as a strategic partner in the Gulf region.

During the gala, the “Friends of Spain” awards were presented, honoring MASDAR, Etihad Airways, and the RAK Cultural Center for their contributions to the development of joint projects between the two countries
