HECPO Trainer (Hostile Environment Close Protection Officer)

A HECPO Trainer is a specialist instructor dedicated to preparing professionals to operate as close protection officers in hostile or high‑risk environments. Their mission is to develop skills in threat analysis, mission planning, protective formations, escort procedures, and decision‑making under pressure. They design and deliver tailored training sessions, lead practical exercises and simulations, and collaborate with instructors from related disciplines such as SERE, HEAT, and TCCC to ensure comprehensive preparation. The role also involves evaluating participant performance, reinforcing resilience, and supervising safety protocols during training. Minimum requirements include prior experience as a trainer in operational or security contexts, strong leadership and analytical skills, and fluency in English. Preferred qualifications include backgrounds in the Armed Forces, law enforcement, or private security, certifications in risk management, and willingness to travel. A HECPO Trainer plays a critical role in strengthening operational readiness, resilience, and protective capabilities for teams working in complex and demanding environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver close protection training sessions tailored to client profiles.
  • Lead practical exercises, case studies, and simulations.
  • Collaborate with instructors from SERE, HEAT, TCCC, and other ACK3 programs.
  • Evaluate individual and group performance.
  • Oversee safety protocols and basic medical support during sessions.

Minimum requirements

  • Experience as a trainer in operational, security, or process analysis environments.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
  • Background or training in procedure evaluation, risk management, or continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage diverse groups in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in the Armed Forces, law enforcement, or private security.
  • Certifications in process analysis, risk management, or continuous improvement.
  • Experience with multinational groups or overseas missions.
  • Willingness to travel.
