ACK3 strengthens its presence in the U.S. cybersecurity sector through a trade mission organized by INCIBE and ICEX

Washington D. C., United StatesĀ ā€“ ACK3, a consultancy specializing in strategic risks and cybersecurity, was selected to participate in a trade mission organized by the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), in collaboration with the Economic and Commercial Offices of the Spanish Embassies (OFECOME). The mission took place in Washington, D.C. from September 10 to 12.

The goal of this mission was to provide Spanish companies with a broad overview of business opportunities in the U.S. cybersecurity sector, a market that has grown significantly in recent years. The Washington, D.C. area, established as the country’s cybersecurity hub, has managed over $26 billion in federal cybersecurity contracts over the past two years, making it a strategic location for such events.

During the mission, ACK3 held meetings with key players in the sector in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, including the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), MITRE, the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), George Mason University, the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC), law firm Hogan Lovells, the World Bank and the US Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, ACK3 visited key technology centers like the Technology Advancement Center (TAC) and the Northern Virginia Cyber Ecosystem. These interactions facilitated the exploration of collaboration opportunities and consolidated ACK3’s presence in the U.S. market, one of the most important in the field of cybersecurity.

Jorge Quintana, CEO of ACK3, highlighted the importance of this mission for the company:

“Our participation in this mission organized by INCIBE strengthens our commitment to innovation and cybersecurity. The United States is a priority market for us, and we believe this is a unique opportunity to showcase our advanced solutions and collaborate with leading companies in the sector.”
