Fostering cultural and economic ties between Spain and the UAE
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – On October 12th, 2024, the Spanish Business Council in United Arab Emirates (SBC), in partnership with the Spanish Embassy in Abu Dhabi, hosted one of the most anticipated events of the year—the Spanish National Day in United Arab Emirates. This prestigious celebration, attended by over 2,500 distinguished guests, was a vibrant showcase of Spain’s rich culture, values of unity, and the strong bilateral ties between Spain and the UAE. ACK3 was honored to be a sponsor of this event, reflecting our commitment to fostering global partnerships and supporting cultural and economic exchanges.
The event was a powerful symbol of friendship, unity, and the longstanding ties between Spain and the Arab community, bringing together prominent figures from the UAE, Spain, and various other countries. Distinguished attendees included ambassadors from Spanish-speaking and European countries, international army officers, scientists, business leaders, engineers, and academics, among others. In their speeches, Ambassador Íñigo de Palacio España and SBC President Guillermo Cobelo underscored the importance of ongoing collaboration between the two nations. The ceremony also honored prominent Emirati institutions, with the “Friends of Spain” awards presented to EDGE Group, the Advanced Technology Research Council, and the Cultural Foundation of Abu Dhabi, recognizing their contributions to fostering these strong bilateral relations.
Jorge Ventura, Marketing & Communications Manager of ACK3, remarked:
“As a sponsor, our involvement underscores ACK3’s dedication to supporting initiatives that promote mutual understanding and potential collaboration in the Middle East. It is truly an honor for ACK3 to be part of such a significant tribute to Spain abroad, especially at the largest celebration of Spain’s National Day outside the country in the world.”
